portable phones

We have been using the Uniden CellLink ELBT 595 portable cordless phones for the last several years as a portable add on to our phone system.  Ours are gradually wearing out and this system is no longer available.  We are looking for portable phones that are small, the flip phone configuration  (or possibly headsets) that can take calls and that can also intercom between different phones or headsets. Are there any recommendations for small lightweight portable phones that accomplish and stand…See More

Cell Phone Policy for Employees

I am curious how other garden centers address the issue of employees texting and making/receiving calls on their cell phones while at work.  I am trying to write up some sort of policy on this to hand out to all of our employees when we start up this season.  My initial thought was to just go cold turkey and say cell phones must be turned off or in your vehicle while at work and that if you must make a call or check messages, clock out and do it in your vehicle.  Is this too extreme? See More
