Permalink Reply by chet peckett on November 10, 2012 at 2:10pm THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE; BUT WE WOULD LIKE IT TO BE A ONE STEP PROCESS WHERE WE CAN GENERATE BOL AND INDIDUAL LABELS DIRECTLY OUTA ORDER ENTRY IN QUICK BKS; TO FACILITATE EXTRA STEPS. WE ARE DOING IT NOW AS AN EXTRA STEP BUT IT IS TOO TIME CONSUMING AND REDUNDATE.
Permalink Reply by Paul Cross on November 11, 2012 at 9:35pm Not sure how to make it a one-step process, but you can set up templates in quickbooks for whatever you need.
Make up a BOL template and a shipping label template. When you generate an invoice, you can print it, then while the invoice is still displayed you can click near the upper right of the invoice and select the BOL, print again, then select the shipping label, print again. Then move onto the next sale.
So three steps, but just one click between each print operation. Not sure how many invoices you're doing, but it works for us.

I use a program called Avery Design Pro. It is a free download from Avery.com. Once you set the labels you can print as many or few as needed. Its easy to use and pretty quick as well.
