Last season I had a huge problem with crabgrass in and around my display yard. What is the best preventative, rate and time of application? I am reading about a new OHP product Marengo, with some interest.

Kathleen, For $1,000 you could buy a pretty decent flame thrower! :)

It inhibits root growth of the crabgrass seedlings so the timing of the application is important. It has about a 4 week control time. We sell it in our garden center for homeowners who wish to have an organic control of crabgrass in their lawn.
